After all of the hype surrounding the Lanvin for H&M collection, budget savvy beauties and fashionistas everywhere were wondering who H&M’s next collaboration could possibly be with. Finally, the luxury highstreet brand H&M announced that they are teaming up with Sweden fashion blogger Elin Kling for their next designer collaboration.
The collection will launch in Sweden on February 3rd, in 10 selected stores, with 10% of sales being donated to the charity UNICEF. Unfortunately, all of us outside of Sweden will have to wait until something pops up on eBay or something, as the collection isn’t available in any other country.
‘It feels great to be able to offer our Swedish customers an exclusive collection by Elin Kling. As one of Sweden’s biggest fashion-profiles Elin fits our fashion-conscious customer perfectly’ says Sofia Jegerborn, Marketing Director H&M Sweden.
The collection is light, modern and minimalist with raw, bohemian influences – a look which mirrors the personal style of Kling. There are just 11 pieces featured in the collection which can be seen here. Silhouette and materials are more important than decoration and any details are considered and discreet, such as a raw edge to finish off wide-leg trousers, or a hidden chain at the neckline of a dress.
The venture marks a fashion innovation for H&M which has become globally recognised for its previous collaborations with major designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Jimmy Choo, and more recently Lanvin, which sold out across stores all around the world in just days.
