LCF to open College Shop

As one of the largest and most famous fashion colleges across the world, the renowned London College of Fashion has finally announced the opening of their new ‘ College Shop ‘ – the college’s first ever pop up shop featuring unique pieces from the current creative talent and students from the last five years. Opening in early September, the store will include pieces from some of the college’s brightest alumni, with names such as William Tempest and John Brunswick already being confirmed for the event.

The shop will boast both a selection of womenswear and menswear, as well as footwear and even illustrations and photographic prints from the more digitally based students, with prices ranging from around £5 to a fairly modest £400 (considering you could be buying into a future must have design)! Each purchase will also have a unique item number and accompanying statement of authentication, and will also be signed by the designers themselves, making each piece a real collectors item for the future. Some shoppers will also have the opportunity too book appointments with certain designers should they want alterations or bespoke pieces created for them personally.

The boutique will run throughout London Fashion Week SS12, until September 28th, with the doors opening in Kingly Court on September 9th, giving the public just 19 days to get involved. Support the future of fashion – see you there!
